About

The award winning Irish Dance Group Fallon Academy offers classes for Adults, teens, and Children in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Home to All Ireland, European, and World Champions, our group gives you the opportunity to learn Irish Dancing in a fun and friendly environment. From beginners to champions, all of our dancers have one thing in common. They just love to dance.

We offer classes for children from age 4 upwards, teenagers, and for adults of any age. We have many returning dancers in our adult class who just can’t hang up their dancing shoes and this gives us a great range of abilities and ages.

Tir na nOg was formed in 2002, originally as an adult group with the focus on learning Irish dancing for fun and fitness in a social environment. Over the years our dance group has developed, and in 2012 our adult dancers took part in their first competition.   Since then we have competed successfully in the UK, Ireland and at European and World level.    Our first children’s classes started in 2013 and have steadily grown over the last couple of years. In 2016 Tir na nOg changed its name to The Fallon Academy of Irish Dance.

We love doing displays which give us an opportunity to showcase our talented dancers and helps our dancers to grow in confidence and show off their skills.

The Fallon Academy have many dancers who compete and are very successful but our focus is on learning a new skill and having fun. If you want to take that further, we will give you the opportunity to do so. We are extremely proud of our Senior Ceili team who recently won the European Championships for the third year in a row.

In total The Fallon Academy have won 2 All Ireland, 9 European, 1 International and 4 World Titles.

We are always looking for our next Champion. Come and try a class for free, and see if you have what it takes to be a Fallon Acadamy

Irish Dancer.

The Fallon Academy are registered with the World Irish Dancing Association.
