The award winning Irish Dance Group Fallon Academy offers classes for Adults, teens, and Children in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Home to All Ireland, European, and World Champions, our group gives you the opportunity to learn Irish Dancing in a fun and friendly environment. From beginners to champions, all of our dancers have one thing in common. They just love to dance.

We offer classes for children from age 4 upwards, teenagers, and for adults of any age. We have many returning dancers in our adult class who just can’t hang up their dancing shoes and this gives us a great range of abilities and ages.

Tir na nOg was formed in 2002, originally as an adult group with the focus on learning Irish dancing for fun and fitness in a social environment. Over the years our dance group has developed, and in 2012 our adult dancers took part in their first competition.   Since then we have competed successfully in the UK, Ireland and at European and World level.    Our first children’s classes started in 2013 and have steadily grown over the last couple of years. In 2016 Tir na nOg changed its name to The Fallon Academy of Irish Dance.

We love doing displays which give us an opportunity to showcase our talented dancers and helps our dancers to grow in confidence and show off their skills.

The Fallon Academy have many dancers who compete and are very successful but our focus is on learning a new skill and having fun. If you want to take that further, we will give you the opportunity to do so. We are extremely proud of our Senior Ceili team who recently won the European Championships for the third year in a row.

In total The Fallon Academy have won 2 All Ireland, 9 European, 1 International and 4 World Titles.

We are always looking for our next Champion. Come and try a class for free, and see if you have what it takes to be a Fallon Acadamy

Irish Dancer.

Fraser started dancing at the age of 3 and has over 20 years of dance

experience. Most notably Fraser danced with The McCutcheon

School of Irish Dance (formerly known as Setanta) for 7 years

where he enhanced his Irish Dance knowledge whilst also placing

highly within Ceili competitions at the Wolrd Championships.

In 2012 Fraser joined Tir na nOg, which then changed to The Fallon

Academy in 2016. He continued to dance competitively using his own choreography. He is a former All Ireland, 4 x European, and World Champion within the World Irish Dance Association. Fraser particularly enjoys choreographing and his show dances have placed 4th in 2015 and 2nd in 2016 at the World Championships for Irish Dancing.

Fraser is also actively involved in helping other schools enhance their dancers by conducting workshops. Fraser has conducted workshops around the world in places such as the USA, Ukraine, and Ireland

Tir na nOg was founded by Audrey in 2002 where her primary focus was to allow fellow dancers to practice Irish Dancing within a relaxed and fun

environment. With over 40 years Irish Dancing experience, Audrey is a fully qualified teacher and adjudicator. She was one of the first Irish Dancers in Edinburgh, being taught by Jenny McInally who opened her school in Edinburgh in 1973. Although no longer competing, Audrey still dances and performs with Edinburgh based Irish Dancing Group Absolutely Legless.

Audrey is also the World Irish Dance Association's UK Representative
